P107 fed the P106 auxiliary lower-bank response back into the core for one narrow consumer: D-cache background fill. Demand loads, demand fetch, page-table walks, AMOs, and stores still use the original memory response path.
The shell smoke reached P107-FILE-OK. The run consumed 10,065,241
auxiliary D-cache background fills, 4,099,429 of them during the shell
window, with 0 auxiliary read errors. The shell window dropped from
P106’s 65,558,077 cycles to 65,269,213 cycles.
Result: PASS for RTL simulation and shell profiling. Hardened layout: NOT RUN.
